Not really for cats?

The ridges in this slow bowl are quite tall, as a result of which, my big cat's tongue often fails to reach the bottom to fish out his dry food. My cat used this for a total of 3 weeks where at one point, he was having 2 out of his 3 dried food servings from this bowl. These days I only use this if he's being extra needy about food (he has food anxiety) and let him work towards getting his extra food. The ridges being super tall sometimes makes this a torturing equipment, if not used correctly.
