MADE WITH LOVE BACKED BY RESEARCH

Supporting pets like Trooper was a challenge we experienced first-hand. So, we took responsibility to make sure no other pet parent has to.

Team HUFT put a lot of heart, soul and hard work to make efficient and reliable support gear easily accessible for every pet parent out there taking care of a special one.

Our special thanks to the veterinarians and pet parents of disabled dogs who lent us their experience, feedback and expertise to design this thoughtful range of products.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What categories of products does Trooper offer?

Trooper offers a range of support gear, designed to effectively aid pets recovering from injuries and surgeries, or suffering from specific disabilities.

This includes harnesses for localised injuries, pain or paralysis in the front leg(s), hind leg(s), or both. We also offer collar and leash inserts for blind, deaf, anxious, friendly and in-training dogs that inform any passer-by of their emotional state and/or disability.

  • I do not know how to put the product on my dog, where can I find the instructions?

You can refer to the description of the product for the instructions. Alternatively, they are also mentioned step-by-step on the product packaging.

  • For how long can I leave the product on the dog?

We recommend using these products for short intervals of time. Allow your pet some time to adjust to the harness' presence, as sudden power in their leg(s) can be discomforting.

  • Can I wash the product?

Yes, you can. Hand-wash Trooper products in cold water with a mild detergent. To maintain their shape, dry them flat in shade and do not wring or tumble dry.

  • How do I make using the harness a pleasant experience for my dog?

Introduce the harness to your dog gradually and use it for very short intervals. We recommend giving your dog some treats to create a positive association with the harness.
