Took 2XL for my 1.5yr Lab baby. It's large for her but gives her space to lie down comfortably, keeping the body relaxed and free as she wants. It's definitely comfortable in It's cushion quality, thickness and material quality. Purchased this for Using inside room with AC on. Pup was feeling cold and used to get up several times at night adjusting positions (slept on doormat, under bed, on slippers etc.). But on 1st day itself she's sleeping soundly throughout the night on this mat. She's totally comfortable and well rested. Design and name look nice. I think it can be used in car back seat also.
